MANILA, September 24, 2010—A scholar of the Knights of Columbus-Fr. George J. Willmann Charities, Inc. was ordained to the Sacred Order of Priesthood last September 20, 2010.
Fr. Paterno Trapa Dalumpines was ordained as priest at the San Isidro Labrador Parish in Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The ordination was presided by Pagadian Bishop Emmanuel T. Cabajar.
Fr. Pat was born on August 22, 1974 to Silvano Dalumpines and Margarita Trapa of Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.
On March 1996, he graduated at the Southern Mindanao Colleges in Pagadian City with a two-year Associate in Computer Science.
Fr. Pat then took his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, major in Mathematics from the same school and completed it on October 2001.
In 2002, Fr. Pat entered the Holy Infant Seminary in Pagadian City to take up a two-year Pre-Theological Formation.
He was then selected during the school-year 2004-2005 as one of the scholars of the KC Fr. Willmann Charities, Inc for a five-year course in Theology at the St. Mary’s Theologate in Ozamiz City.
Fr. Pat finished his studies in March 2009 and immediately begun his Pre-deaconal program where Bishop Cabajar also ordained him as a deacon last December 29, 2009. (KCFAPI News)
